Mean Machine was a team that competed in the Tenth Zenith of Things Tournament (ZOTT). The only member of the team shown was a large cyborg with a giant spherical head who wielded a cleaver.
The team was placed in Block-B where they faced the Space Karate Forces in Round 1. Although Mean Machine killed all four of the unnamed space karate masters who filled the active roster spots on short notice, Toji singlehandedly defeated them.
