Karashnikoff is a Top League motorball player who participated in a challenge race against Jashugan in ES 578.

Appearance

Karashnikoff has a bipedal motorball body. He has an oval-shaped head that tapers back from his face, which has eight eyes and spikes on his chin, with a human nose and mouth. He mounts a cork-screw like weapon on one of his arms, which can be deployed by snapping the corkscrew out of its casing.

History

Along with Claymore and Pihagetta, Karashnikoff was part of a three-man challenge team that faced Jashugan on the Galvani Circuit in the champion's first race in a month. Alita, Ed, Daisuke Ido, and Shumira watched this race. When Jashugan suffered a flatline attack and was forced to pit, Karashnikoff secured the motorball and raced ahead of his comrades with the aim of winning the race and becoming the next champion. When Jashugan returned to the track and ripped through Claymore and Pihagetta, Karashnikoff attempted to take him on, but was torn to pieces by Jashugan’s Sidewinder technique.

• He is possibly named after Soviet small arms designer Mikhail Kalashnikov.
