Claymore is a motorball player in the Top League, ranked 5th. Along with Karashnikoff and Pihagetta, he forms a three-man challenge team that faces Jashugan on the Galvani Circuit in his first race in a month. The race is watched by Alita, Ed, Daisuke Ido, and Shumira. After Jashugan suffers a flatline attack and is forced to pit, he is resuscitated by Ido with Shumira’s help. Claymore is the first member of the challenge team to be taken out by Jashugan after he returns to the track.
